What's new in YouViCo

The image editor's workspace is now a canvas you can pan and zoom freely. Drag pages wherever you want them, and use the minimap to see everything at a glance.

• Turn a link into a QR code and place it
• Select several pages at once
• Space elements evenly, and round each corner of a shape separately
• Press I to pick a color from the screen
• While cropping, move the picture inside without moving its frame
• Paste a copied file to add it to the project's files

You can now click and type on the same screen while YouViCo Agent is working. When you change something, the agent checks the latest state and carries on.

• Pause the agent, make changes yourself, then let it continue
• Local AI (beta): automatic subtitles, image background removal, voice noise reduction, and 2x image upscaling run on your own computer
• You can turn on a mode that lets the agent finish what you asked without further approvals

You can now sign in with a passkey instead of typing your password. Passkeys currently work in web browsers.

• Choose an authenticator app, a passkey, or a backup code for two-step verification
• Manage each method in the Security tab of settings
• See your account's sign-in history for the last 90 days

YouViCo Agent now keeps a memory for each project and workspace. It saves the context of your work, and you can edit it or restore an earlier version. The memory is stored on the device you're using.

• Results are marked as done, partly done, needs review, error, or stopped
• Switch between ChatGPT and Claude and your request and progress carry over
• When you hit a usage limit, continue the remaining work with the other AI

The fonts on your own computer, until now available only in the desktop app, also work in the web editors. This is supported in Chromium-based desktop browsers such as Chrome and Edge. If an edit uses a font that isn't on the computer you're on, we show a default font instead and let you know.

You can now view your file list as a grid of thumbnails. The project sidebar, the video editor's media bin, and the image editor's file drawer share the same view.

• PDFs show their first page and videos show a frame
• AI-generated files show a prompt card on the preview
• Check the model and settings on the card, copy the prompt, or generate again

We refined the video editor and the image editor.

• Speed a video clip up to 16x
• Type the length you want and the speed adjusts to fit
• Change the height of timeline tracks
• In the image editor, drag a page's corner or edge to resize it, and apply the size to every page at once
• Select several text boxes or shapes and restyle them together

YouViCo Agent can do more editing, and you choose how much to leave to it.

• Add text clips, delete clips, add transitions, and export to MP4
• Write timecoded comments on a specific moment of a video
• Pick how approvals work for each request, and change it while a task is running
• When it needs more information, the agent asks, then carries on once you answer
• Shrink the agent to a small window that floats over your screen
• Write your own skills or import them from a file, and add, edit, delete, or switch them on and off by asking in chat

YouViCo Agent is now in the desktop app. Describe the video you want, and the agent carries it through planning, generation, editing, and applying feedback in one workspace.

• It keeps working in the background when you close the app or move to another screen
• It pays, deletes, and shares only after you approve
• The agent's planning and work run on your connected ChatGPT or Claude subscription; generation uses YouViCo credits

The video editor now has clip effects and masks.

• Blur, mosaic, vignette, and chroma key effects
• Rectangle and ellipse masks that can follow a moving subject
• Match loudness to the YouTube or broadcast standard
• Copy one clip's color and paste it onto another
• Animated GIF and WebP playback

The image editor can now export to GIF and PDF.

• Drag layers to reorder them or move them to another page
• Set letter spacing, line height, and color for text
• Adjust a shape's opacity, stroke, and corners with sliders

When you generate with AI, you can now attach files straight from your computer as references. You don't have to upload them to the project first, and they aren't added to the project's files.

Workspace search now finds files and comments as well as projects. Click a result to jump straight to that file or comment.

• Narrow the results by type
• Comment results show the author, the file name, and the timecode
• The same search works on mobile

You now decide how notifications reach you and how many you get.

• Turn app push, Slack, and desktop notifications on or off for each workspace
• See one project's notifications together in its own inbox
• Choose per project: every comment, only mentions and replies, or none

Select multiple files to move or delete them together. On mobile, turn on selection mode. Downloads now show their progress and tell you when they finish.

The video editor and the image editor now have color adjustments. What you see in the preview is what you get in the export.

• Pick a look preset and set its strength
• Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation, temperature, and tint
• Hold a button to compare with the original

The Security tab in settings now lists the devices signed in to your account, and you can sign any other device out.

• Get an email and a push notification when your account signs in from a new environment
• Get notified when your password, two-step verification, or API keys change

AI apps that support MCP can now connect to your YouViCo workspace. When you connect one, you review the permissions it asks for and approve them.

• See your connected apps in settings and disconnect them
• Set which permissions each API key is allowed

The video editor now has audio crossfades and clip linking.

• Crossfade where two audio cuts meet, or fade at the end of a clip
• Linked clips are selected, moved, trimmed, deleted, and split together
• Duplicated and pasted clips land at the playhead

Archiving a project moves it to the archive section of the sidebar and makes it read-only. Everything stays viewable, and you can unarchive it whenever you need it again.

Paste several email addresses into the workspace invite window to invite up to 20 people in one go.

The video editor's timeline has new tools that make it easier to work on many clips at once.

• Selection, blade, and track-select tools
• Ripple editing to trim and rearrange several clips together
• Close a gap between clips with one click
• Extract a frame from a video
• Collapse or resize the properties panel

In the image editor you can now lay out image frames in 10 shapes — rectangle, circle, star, and more — before you have the pictures. Fill a frame with a project file or with an AI-generated image.

• Resizing snaps to the page and to nearby elements, and shows the size as you drag
• Type a shape's width and height as numbers

The limit for project chat, file comments, and project comments went from 2,000 to 5,000 characters. Line breaks and blank lines now stay exactly as you typed them.

We rebuilt how videos are encoded. It now takes less time from upload until a video is ready to play.

The video editor now has an AI dock. Generate images and video without leaving your edit, and drag files from the media bin to use them as references.

The advanced settings in the AI generation window let you pick the aspect ratio, resolution, and length yourself. The estimated credits update as you change them.

In the file viewer, drop a "spot" on an image and describe the change you want — AI edits just that part. Drag files from the drawer to add references.

We refined a lot of editing controls since launch.

• Export just a selected range, with audio cut to match
• Drag the playhead directly by its line
• Guide lines to cut along other clips' edges, and waveforms that scale with volume
• Use your machine's local fonts (desktop app)
• Organize the media bin into nested folders

You can now open HWP/HWPX documents and XLSX spreadsheets right in YouViCo. For Excel, each sheet is a page and you can comment on a range of cells. (Desktop and mobile.)

The new image editor lets you work on image docs — detail pages, webtoons — right inside YouViCo.

Guided onboarding is now an official feature and runs automatically the first time you arrive — a workspace tour, a project walkthrough, an editor guide, and an AI-generation how-to.

Choose Frames, Standard, or Timecode for timestamp feedback, and comments, threads, replies, and markers all switch to that unit. Frame counts now follow the video's real fps.

Select a shape you drew in feedback to move it, resize it with eight handles, or delete it. You can finally adjust a shape after drawing it.

We widened what you can reference and which models you can pick, and you can now check the cost before you generate.

You can now nest folders up to five levels deep to keep your files tidy.

Cap how many credits each member can spend, separately from your workspace balance. Choose inherit, fixed, or unlimited — and track each member's usage under People.

Calendar events moved from a single due date to a start–end range. Set start and end dates and times, add a description, and pick a color.

Bring glb 3D files into a project and inspect them in the viewer — rotate, switch between perspective and flat, and reset the view. You can also generate 3D right from AI generation.

YouViCo now supports Vietnamese, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Hindi, French, German, and Arabic (Beta). Your language choice is saved to your account and follows you across devices.

Make short videos inside YouViCo — no Premiere required. Trim, layer tracks, and add subtitles, all on the web.

You can now open .md files right in YouViCo. Drag to select a line or a range — in either the source or the rendered view — and comment on it, Notion-style.

Real audio waveforms now appear wherever audio shows up — in previews, the project view, and comment attachments.

Type # in a comment or chat to search and link a project file as a chip. Click it to jump straight to the file, or hover to preview it.

Comments and chat now support lists, bold and italic, code blocks, and quotes — so your feedback reads clearly.

A "What's New" panel now greets you with the latest updates when you arrive, and you can reopen it anytime from the Help menu. Available in English, Korean, and Japanese.

Drag a box to select several projects in your workspace, then move the whole group into a section in one go. Shift-click to select a range.

You can now talk with your team and clients inside a project before a single file is uploaded. Keep the early back-and-forth in YouViCo instead of scattered across Slack or email.

You can now attach images and files directly to a comment, so your feedback comes with the reference right there. No more passing links around — drop it into the conversation.

The reworked toolbar adds a text tool for typing notes right on the frame. Background colors and multi-character selection make your notes easier to read.

Drop a YouTube link into a comment and it plays right inline. No jumping between tabs — review it in context.

We expanded the drawing tools so you can mark up frames with more precision.

Hover over a file in the sidebar to see a quick preview. Find the right image, video, or PDF without opening a thing.

When someone leaves your workspace or changes their name, their past comments and notifications no longer collapse into "Unknown User." Your history stays readable, exactly as it was.

You can now react to comments with emojis on mobile. Long-press to open the action bar and drop a reaction just as quickly as you do on desktop.

The Public API now covers project management. Handle everything from creating projects to scheduling their deletion, right from the tools outside your workspace.

Finding the right reaction shouldn't slow you down. YouViCo now remembers the emojis you've used — so they show up first, every time you react to a comment.

Need the whole team's attention? Type @everyone in a comment to notify all members at once — no need to tag people one by one.

You can now drag projects directly from the sidebar to reorganize them across sections — no extra clicks, no menus.

We built the YouViCo Public API to close that gap. Now you can connect review directly into the tools your team already runs on:
